2880 – After two centuries of inequality, non-Duana merchants form the Merchant Sodality
2884 – The Merchant Sodality formalizes it’s business rights
2885 – The Sodality begins undercutting the Duanas in the markets
2890 – Hostilities between the Sodality and the Duanas begin to get worse
2900 – The Sodality and the Duanas begin forming private militias
2994 – Violence between the two mercantile associations begins to escalate
2995 – The Crimson Iris Festival marks the catalyst for the Silk War
2996 – The Silk War erupts and city streets become the battleground
2999 – Emperor Xiahou of the 2nd Shaopang Dynasty hires several Eo clans to help stop the war
3000 – The Eo bring the war to an end after only 3 weeks
3000 – The Sodality is dispersed and it’s members exiled from the empire
3001 – The Emperor formalizes his relationship with the Eo who helped end the war
3002 – The Eo Mian who serve the Emperor are shunned by the Eo Juren, the free.
3005 – The Eo Juren leave the empire with others who are shunned by society: the Genga Not, Bumano Mao, Blom Jeffa, and the Asta Shen. They travel north
3012 – The Eo Juren and others found the Free Province of Jiyun far to the north
3028 – The Sodality reforms after being exiled and found the Merchant Principalities on the southern coast of Eoda ending the Third Cycle
